KFCRIS received delegation from Princess Nourah University
The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, represented by Dr. Dalal bint Mukhled Al-Harbi, received on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, an academic delegation from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
The delegation included six master’s students from the Women’s Studies Program and visited the Center as part of a scientific trip aimed at learning about its scholarly and cultural efforts, as well as the Princess Haifa Al-Faisal Program for Saudi Women’s Studies, and becoming acquainted with its research foundations and intellectual objectives.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Iman bint Abdul Rahman Al-Khayal, a faculty member at the university. During the visit, the group was introduced to the program’s academic vision, its research themes, and the mechanisms used to document and analyze materials related to Saudi women, as an integral component of the Kingdom’s social and cultural history.
The HRH Princess Haifa AlFaisal Program for Saudi Women’s Studies is considered one of the Center’s specialized research initiatives. Through it, the Center seeks to establish a reliable academic reference dedicated to monitoring and analyzing representations of Saudi women across various regions of the Kingdom. The program places particular emphasis on documenting the formal aspects of women’s daily lives and highlighting the cultural and social diversity that reflects the richness of local environments and the variation of lifestyles and traditions.
The program also aims to provide rigorous scholarly content from both historical and social perspectives, serving as an accredited resource for researchers and scholars locally and internationally. In addition, it contributes to preserving the cultural heritage associated with Saudi women and presenting it to contemporary generations within a precise and methodologically sound documentation framework.
This visit comes within the context of supporting cooperation between academic and research institutions and strengthening engagement with graduate students, enabling them to gain direct exposure to leading national research experiences.
