HRH Prince Turki AlFaisal delivered keynote speech at the World Peace Forum
HRH Prince Turki AlFaisal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KFCRIS, delivered a keynote speech at the World Peace Forum. In his speech, Prince Turki AlFaisal warned of the consequences of the collapse of the global order and called for a deep and comprehensive reform of the United Nations system to make it more just and representative of today’s international realities. Prince Turki AlFaisal stated that multipolarity will not bring peace if it lacks clear rules. He called on the Global South, especially China, to play an active role in shaping a balanced and just international order that upholds global security.
HRH strongly criticized the use of veto power by major nations, particularly in the context of Gaza, Syria, and Sudan, arguing that the Security Council's inaction fuels ongoing violence and undermines the credibility of the international system. Prince Turki AlFaisal stressed that the Palestinian cause remains the greatest obstacle to regional peace. Without a fair solution that ensures Palestinians' right to self-determination, no global order can claim legitimacy or achieve lasting stability.
