On Wedensday, August 2, 2023, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) held a panel discussion entitled "Books, Boxes, and Displays: Exploring Hidden Aspects of Paper Conservation.” Two speakers joined the panel discussion: Ina Baumeister (bookbinder, conservator, and consultant), and Fatma Abdulhadi (artist). The discussion was moderated by Rasha Alfawaz (Director of Department of Assets and Museums, KFCRIS). At the end of the discussion, Ina Baumeister demonstrated the process of photographs conservation.
