Regional Economic & Political Development workshop was held , in collaboration with Chatham House MENA, discussing economic, environmental and political developments in the Gulf region.
The workshop started with the Infrastructure and Trade panel. Moderator by #KFCRIS senior researcher Fahad Al-Sharif, with Neil Quilliam, Associate fellow at Chatham House, Sadad Al-Husseini, Founder and president of Husseini Energy and Kusai Al-Khunaizi, an expert economist.
Followed by, Energy and the Environment session which was moderated by #KFCRIS Associate Fellow Mark Thompson, with the participation of Jessica Obeid,Academy Associate at Chatham House,Aisha Al-Sarihi, Research Associate at KAPSARC,Tamim Al-Othimin,Assistant Researcher at KFCRIS
The final session «Regional Geopolitics: Future Scenarios» was Moderated by KFCRIS Director of Research Abdullah Al-Saud with the participation of Mansoor Al-Marzoqi, Assistant Professor at Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies James Nixey, Head of the Russia and Eurasia Program at Chatham House and Sanam Vakil, Deputy Head of Chatham House Middle East Program and Senior Research Fellow.
