The Al Faisal Museum is a resource for academics, intellectuals, artists, designers and anyone with an inquisitive mind and an interest in Islamic and Arab art, history, and culture.
We provide a space to find inspiration, to delve into the past, to broaden horizons, and to examine the objects and collections that give form to our history and symbolize our culture and values.
We are located in a quiet courtyard in the heart of Riyadh, tucked away behind the Faisaliah mall and hotel. We can be reached from either Olaya Street or King Fahad Road; climb up the stairs to find us next to the King Faisal Foundation mosque.
Admission to the Al Faisal Museum is free to the public. Our standard hours of operation are during weekdays from 9am to 3pm. Evening hours and weekends are available as per our Events Calendar.
The Al Faisal Museum seeks to encourage a dialogue exploring the fields of “Islamic art” and “Islamic history” with the goal of enriching contemporary Arab culture. Our aim is to add a narrative, among the many existing narratives about this unique civilization, from an Arab Islamic perspective.
