On Thursday, May 23, 2024, the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies and IASA held an online panel discussion entitled “ntellectual Connections between the Arabian Peninsula and al-Andalus”. Two speakers joined the discussion: Dr. Maribel Fierro (Research Professor, Institute of Languages and Cultures of the Mediterranean and Near East in Madrid) and Dr. Jose Carvajal lopez (Scientific Researcher, Institute of Heritage Sciences).

The discussion was moderated by Dr. Ignacio Ferrando Frutos (Professor of Philology, University of Cadiz).
