The Secretary-General of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, Saud Alsarhan, participated in the MED 2018 forum in Rome, Italy, organized by the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event was from November 22nd to 24th, with the participation of a number of presidents, ministers, officials of international organizations and heads of think tanks.

The forum discussed a number of political issues, notably: security and terrorism, seeking a new balance of power on the international scene, economic growth and its impact on societies, as well as discussing the impact of global investments and technological development on countries’ economies and stability.
