T20 Summit was convened to endorse its Recommendations for the G20 representatives

The T20 Summit was convened virtually by the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) and the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) on October 31 and November 1. On its first day, in which HRH Prince Turki AlFaisal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KFCRIS, delivered the welcoming speech, five key themes were discussed: climate change and environment; women and youth; multilateralism, economic development and finance; sustainable resources; technology and digitalization. On the second day, in which Dr. Saud Al-Sarhan, the Secretary-General of the KFCRIS, delivered the opening speech, a wide range of issues were discussed including the MENA and GCC think-tank cooperation and growth. The Summit was concluded with the T20 presenting its Communiqué to the representatives of the G20. The document comprised 32 policy recommendations.
