The King Faisal Center signed a cultural cooperation agreement with the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan

The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies signed an agreement on cultural and academic cooperation with the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The agreement was signed by His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Center, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and President of the Library. The agreement covers the field of academic research, the exchange of opinion, the necessary analysis of the publishing projects of the parties, and if necessary, the possibility of carrying out joint research projects dealing with cultural, social or political aspects, documenting research and any publication or presentation of such research. Both parties will cooperate in organizing and holding seminars, conferences, and workshops on issues of mutual interest.
On the sidelines of the signing of the agreement, the Center gifted the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan a device called (Wei T'o), which sterilizes manuscripts, documents, and rare printed books by dry cooling to eliminate all insects and fungi found in documents and manuscripts books without having to use any chemicals or toxic gases.
