is an educational Institution, maintained by the renowned King Faisal Foundation, established in 1983 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to support and promote research in all fields of Islamic Studies. Since its establishment the Center has been engaged in different academic and cultural activities. Conducting public lectures, seminars, symposium and conferences, beside organizing workshops and exhibitions, Center is also publishing books and periodicals.
 
In accordance with its mission the Center has developed specialized data-bases in different fields to achieve its goals. Thus, enhancing the library services available toresearchers and students at the Center.  
We are now busy in developing an international specialized data-base having all the information about scholars in the fields of Arabic and Islamic studies, as well as about Arabists, Islamists and Middle East Specialists.
